The Kiwanis Hartwell Golf Committee organizes our annual “Kiwanis Fore Kids Golf Tournament” at local courses such as Arrowhead Golf Course and Cateechee Golf Club. Members raise funds by recruiting local business sponsors and collecting tournament entry fees, with proceeds supporting programs for children throughout Hart County.

Blue Magoo is our weekly member raffle, giving participants the chance to win half of the accumulated “pot.” The remaining funds are contributed directly to the club’s service project fund, helping support Kiwanis programs, charitable projects, and other efforts benefiting children and families throughout the Hartwell community.

Hartwell Kiwanis proudly sponsors Boy Scout Troop 33 and provides ongoing financial and community support. Our club maintains close communication with troop leaders and participates in activities when requested. Kiwanis representatives work directly with the troop while helping ensure continued opportunities, leadership development, and positive experiences for local Scouts.

The Building Committee consists of Kiwanis members who volunteer their skills to construct decks, porches, sunrooms, and other projects for people throughout Hartwell. Funds earned through these projects help support the club’s charitable contributions and provide additional resources for programs benefiting children and families across Hart County.

This committee manages communication for the Hartwell Kiwanis Club, including our weekly bulletin, website, Facebook presence, and community news. Members share club updates, meeting information, charitable activities, photos, and announcements while keeping our website current and helping the community stay informed about Kiwanis programs and service.

The Community Service Committee identifies local needs and organizes hands-on projects that make a positive difference throughout Hart County. Members coordinate volunteers, work with community organizations, and plan service activities designed to support children, families, and other local causes where Kiwanis members can make the greatest impact.

The Dance Party Committee organizes musical events and entertainment to raise funds for children throughout Hart County. This annual fundraiser brings the community together through dances, concerts, and other enjoyable events while generating financial support for Kiwanis programs and projects that directly benefit local children and families.

The Finance and Fundraising Committee develops and evaluates fundraising opportunities for the Hartwell Kiwanis Club. Proposed activities are reviewed by the Board of Directors, and club members work together to carry them out. These fundraising efforts provide essential support for our community programs, service projects, and charitable initiatives.

The Hart Pecans fundraiser allows Kiwanis members to sell assorted pecans while generating support for club programs and community projects. The committee coordinates ordering, distribution, and sales each year, giving members an easy way to participate while helping raise funds for children and families throughout Hart County.

The Hospitality and Motivation Committee promotes member engagement, recognition, and a welcoming atmosphere within the Hartwell Kiwanis Club. Members organize social gatherings, appreciation activities, the annual steak cookout, and the club Christmas party while celebrating member contributions and strengthening friendships, participation, and club traditions throughout the year.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free books to preschool children to encourage early reading and development. Hartwell Kiwanis supports the program through fundraising efforts and helps enroll children throughout Hart County, giving local families access to books that encourage literacy, learning, and a lifelong love of reading.

The Interclub Committee coordinates communication and interaction between the Hartwell Kiwanis Club and other Kiwanis clubs locally, regionally, and internationally. These connections give members opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas, participate in joint activities, and strengthen the broader Kiwanis mission of serving children and communities.

The Membership Committee focuses on growing and strengthening the Hartwell Kiwanis Club by attracting new members and keeping current members engaged. The committee coordinates recruitment efforts, improves the member experience, and creates a welcoming environment that encourages participation, builds relationships, and supports the club’s continued growth.

The Programs Committee coordinates guest speakers for regular Kiwanis meetings. Presentations cover community affairs, local businesses, organizations, children’s programs, and other topics of interest. Members help arrange and introduce speakers, providing informative and engaging programs that keep meetings fresh while connecting the club with the Hart County community.
